Inclusion and SEND
Millbrook Primary is an inclusive school. We take great pride in the resources we provide to support those pupils who require additional and different support.
We actively seek to remove the barriers to learning and participation that can hinder or exclude individual pupils, or groups of pupils. We aim to offer equality of opportunity and diversity, when needed, to the different individuals and groups of children within our school.
Millbrook School provides for children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) including those with:
• Communication and interaction needs
• Cognition and Learning needs
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
• Sensory and/or Physical needs
The well-being of our young people is important to us and we work with staff and parents and carers, offering expertise. We ensure that each child has a smooth transition into Primary Education and then support their move to Secondary.
